Dense House
Dense House - is a house for performance artist Heather Henson, an artist who uses anthropometry to create an art piece through dance. Inspired by the layering and density of her strokes, the use of a single language can create various degrees of densities to form organic layers of spaces and paths. Bamboo poles of varying densities are used to create private and public spaces, based on the degree of privacy needed. The varied densities play with the body limits of users as the sheer closeness of the poles prevents human access, as well as blocks visual sights, thereby creating enclosure without the need of walls. This playground allows users to experience and move around the forest of poles based on their bodily experience, creating a unique experience for each individual
