FLAT @ DAKOTA
Taking ques from brutalism and the mid century era, the flat wants to create its own quirky character with raw and organic textures and shapes. The flat plays with raw textures like concrete, terracotta, and stone, to compliment cool grey tones with warm bold tones. Dark tones of wood and black frame lines were used to create bold statement pieces and frame views.

The flat does not have any access to the outside via a balcony. With HDB flats getting smaller, it was essential to bring greenery and the outside environment into flat. Along with raw textures, the flat would be filled with plants to further enhance a slow and organic space.

Neither a straight line, nor a curve. The flat emphasizes its fillet language in several elements as its key architectural language and character.
